Psychedelic Integration
What is Psychedelic Integration?
Psychedelic substances (such as psilocybin, ayahuasca, MDMA, and LSD) temporarily alter perception and consciousness , and can generate profound insights into trauma, emotional patterns, and life purpose. Historically used in spiritual rituals, they are now studied for their therapeutic potential when combined with psychotherapy.
Please note : Some of these substances are prohibited in Europe, except in specific medical or religious contexts (e.g. ketamine in clinics, ayahuasca in legal ceremonies). My role is not to guide their use, but to help you:
-
Process past experiences (whether recreational, ritualistic or therapeutic);
-
Prepare yourself psychologically for future experiences in safe and legal environments;
-
Turning insights into practical changes.
When to Seek Psychedelic Integration?
1. Emotional Processing
-
Challenging content that emerged during the experience (fears, traumatic memories);
-
Anxiety or confusion after use;
-
Difficulty returning to routine ("reentry crisis").
2. Practical Application
-
How to bring insights (e.g.: "I need to prioritize myself more") into everyday life;
-
Adjustments in relationships or career after new perspectives;
-
Identity crises (e.g., "Who am I after this experience?").
3. Support for Expatriates
-
Use of psychedelics to deal with cultural loneliness or migratory grief;
-
Integration of mystical experiences in a multicultural context;
-
Balance between spiritual expansion and practical life abroad.
My approach to psychedelic integration is based on:
-
Internationally recognized scientific protocols (such as those developed by MAPS - Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies);
-
Harm Reduction practices adapted to therapeutic contexts;
-
Specialized training in Psychedelics for Mental Health from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), with guidance from leading researchers in the field in Brazil.
